Question: What is Islam , and what Muslims believe ?
The answer : the Islamic religion was founded at the beginning of the seventh century by someone named Mohammed . He said that the angel Gabriel visited him . Muslims , who are followers of the Islamic faith , believe that the Koran is the word of God and the full existing since time immemorial . Muslims their faith based on five columns / pillars:
1. certificate: "There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of God."
2. Prayer: must perform five prayers a day.
3. Zakat: to provide money for the poor, including that all comes from God.
4. Fasting: In addition to sporadic fasting, we must all Muslims to fast the month of Ramadan (the ninth month of the Islamic calendar).
5. Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca, which is at least once a human life (during the twelfth month of the Islamic calendar).These five pillars , namely the framework of obedience for Muslims , are taken very seriously and craftsmanship . Entering to the Muslim paradise hinges on obedience to these five pillars
