Cooperation Council deplores Iran's attempts aiming to politicize the Hajj

Denounced the Gulf Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf , Iran's attempts to politicize the hajj , and exploitation of the abuse to Saudi Arabia .

He said the Secretary- General of the GCC , Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Zayani , the GCC condemns the attitude of the Iranian Islamic Republic aimed at politicizing the hajj by placing obstacles in the way of reaching a final agreement governing the Iranian pilgrims to perform the Hajj for next season .

The Secretary-General said that the Gulf Cooperation Council calls on the Iranian officials to be aware that the Hajj religious duty sacred to all Muslims and should not be linked to attitudes and political differences between the countries, and demands that the competent authorities in Iran, authorities in cooperation with the official authorities in Saudi Arabia responsible for organizing the pilgrimage season, in order to allow Iranian pilgrims to perform Arbthm safely and peace with their fellow Muslims in the world.

The Secretary-General expressed appreciation GCC countries and the Islamic world for the great efforts and the many facilities offered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the government in order to take care of the pilgrims and Umrah performers and visitors to the holy places in Saudi Arabia from its duty and responsibility of the Two Holy Mosques service.
